Rigid chain drive is the best system available for operating a retractable grandstand. The movement to open or close the structure is fully guided and never uses the traction of the ground on which it is built. 

Independent 

The chain system is designed to pull and push objects in a very effective and efficient manner. Unlike friction (drum) motors which require surface resistance, the rigid chain system moves the platforms from its own chassis. The system is completely independent and regardless of the ground, the stand will retract and extend perfectly parallel. 

High stability 

As well as opening and closing the grandstand, this system ensures the stability of the all-metal structure. In the open position, the chain and system form a fixed connection from back to front and from left to right. It makes your audience walk on a fixed stand! 


Fully automatic seating rows 

A very pleasant feature of our system is the fact that we can use the power of the drive system to make the chairs stand upright when the grandstand is opened. As the grandstand retracts, the chairs fold down in a controlled, automatic manner. No more manual labour and damaged chairs.
